As far as Jamaica and the world on a whole, the first thing that needs to change is the mentality of the people. Dem nuh see seh we all chain inna bondage whether black white man woman Jamaica or America. Ah jus life but we need fi educate ourselves and our children!

  3. ms goodas an strawberry made a valid point pertaining 2 the fact nobody really commented on how ja can rebuild itself but if a susssssssss more ppl would ave commented.. i personally love jamaica, my only problem is the gunz, violence, an the corruption in police force or within the government.. i would love ja 2 be like when i was a child out there an could go anywhere without the fear of being harm in anyway.. i took my kids there 4 summer an dem love it, dem free fi run around an xpress demselves, but whenever i took them off the ends i feel scared 4 myself an them becau mi kno more time yu caan relax unless ur in ur own environment.. i dont want wen we go there we have to act like tourist, i want them 2 kno where i was born an how free i felt at a young age..

  4. jamaica should change the way people apply for visa. why accept the money if you are going to deny them? they should refund the money. only foreign thing they should adapt is free education, tax return, unemployment assisstance and 119 response

  5. My aunt was pulling in her driveway and noticed 2 men in a corolla. Her gut instinct told her when she was getting out the car to lock her pocket book and ting in the car cause she had to walk back to close the gate. The man started to ask for directions to a particular supermarket. My aunt found it odd as he was coming from the direction in which the big supermarket was. next she know the man start to wrestle her as she had on some jewelry my aunt fought and fought. same time my cousin run out and saw what was happening and run to call 119 is about 10 minutes a fighting gwaan in front the gate. The get away driver never even come to help. when my cousin ran back again to call 119 the operator response was "mam you think you are the only one in Jamaica with an emergency"

  6. If it was not for the screaming and fighting and the neighbors coming to see what was happening the man would not have ran off. Lawd me aunty did give him some scratch. me ask har if she neva fraid the man have a weapon but she said a just instinct. Any how the point is the 119 system sucks you have to defend yourself. God forbid yuh house a bun down yuh bettah have water ready. Here in the states emergency service offer quick response and jamaica needs it
